1965 Fender Pro Reverb in Chelsea, Quebec for sale

Up for grabs is my 1965 blackface Fender Pro Reverb. The tube chart show this as a #1 production run so it's a very early example of this model dating to summer of 1965 (it still has the pre-CBS "Fender Electric Instruments Co." on the front panel). Direct replacement Jensen Special Design speakers and 3 prong plug added. Comes with aftermarket vintage style Fender footswitch to toggle reverb and tremolo and the original stilt legs attached.
It sounds exactly how you imagine a vintage AA165 circuit Fender should sound and is in great condition for a 50 year old amp. It's been called the best tube amp ever made and it lives up to the hype. I've only ever gigged it once and it's sat comfortably in my home studio for the rest of the time. She handles pedals like a boss and is dynamic at all volumes- an absolute tone machine!
